How to Create Website Shortcut on Desktop

If you have one or more websites that you visit very often, you will find useful to have shortcut to it on your desktop. For people that are trying to find out how to do that, you are on the right place, I am just about to show you how to do it.

Windows 7

Right click on your desktop, then go to New > Shortcut, you need to have a window like this one appeared:

























Now enter the address of a website you want to make shortcut for (don't forget http://) and click next. Enter the name of the shortcut and click finish. Done!

Windows XP


Pretty much the same process if you use Windows XP, right click on desktop, New > Shortcut, and you will see this window:





Type in the address of the desired website, click next, then write the name of the shortcut, click finish, and you will have website shortcut on your desktop.
